The young international ensemble Mozaïque has its roots at the University Mozarteum Salzburg.

Repeatedly rewarded at numerous international competitions they frequently perform on renowned stages at festivals such as Oude Muziek Festival Utrecht, MAfestival Bruges, Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik and Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci.

Under the sign of historically informed performance practice, the mosaic of excellent musicians strives to rediscover the neglected and forgotten treasures of baroque music.
For that reason both the archival research and the elaboration of innovative concepts are fundamental parts of their work as an ensemble, making unknown repertoire accessible to the widest possible audience.

In January 2020 Mozaïque won the first prize and the audience prize at the Rheinsberger Hofkapelle competition and was thus awarded the title of „Rheinsberger Hofkapelle“ for the concert season 2020/2021. This was followed by the first and the audience prizes at the Händel Competition Göttingen  and a special prize for CD recording and concerts at Fiori Musicali at the Biber Competition.

In 2023, the ensemble released its first CD "Caldara: Arias for Bass" in collaboration with the Pan classics label.
The ensemble has established itself as an active ensemble that meets high standards and is in demand on the international concert scene.
